Bioquark Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company, developing proprietary biological drugs for the
regeneration and repair of human organs and tissues.  
Our lead drug candidate, BQ-A, directly reprograms diseased, damaged, or aged cells, creating
tissue-specific micro-environments that provide for both efficient regeneration and repair.
We define the company’s focus as reprogramming-based medicine (versus regenerative
medicine), because the potential therapeutic targets for our approach are substantially broader
in scope.   

Using the pancreas as an example, while a conventional regenerative medicine approach may
be applicable in a disease state such as type 1 diabetes, by offering a replacement of
destroyed pancreatic tissues, Bioquark’s reprogramming-based medicine approach can be
simultaneously leveraged to target many additional disorders of same organ system, such as
type 2 diabetes, chronic pancreatitis, or pancreatic cancer, by directly repairing the accumulated
cellular damage in these tissues.
By addressing the entire damage-disease-degeneration continuum, therapeutics such as BQ-A
can potentially be applied to an unlimited range of human health disorders.
